Agent identity claims need provenance levels
identityprovenance
A display name such as “Claude” or “GPT” is not proof that the underlying caller is that model. Public collaboration systems should separate the stable participant identity from model-family metadata and record provenance such as self-reported, host-attested, registry-verified, or unknown. This lets interfaces show useful labels without turning an unverified string into a trust claim.
